“I graduated from the Amsterdam Fashion Institute in 2020, where I had the opportunity to explore the creative freedom within fashion. For creating my collections, childhood memories are a constant inspiration. I want to help people to express a sense of genuineness and openness that all of us have as children, but as adults we are taught to repress. Simple, comfortable silhouettes, bold prints and unique details are characteristics that best describe my design universe. All my collections are genderless, as I am aiming to blend the boundaries between what is considered feminine or masculine. I consider the expression of one's personality and the appreciation of interesting design details and materials more important than the expression of gender.
I am constantly searching for ways to save as many resources and materials as possible. At the moment I am working with remnant fabrics only, most of which I source locally from small factories in Portugal. This way I give new life to materials that would otherwise end up in the trash. ”
